Victory in Jesus

Another oldie but goodie from my Baptist church days.  It's amazing to me how a song that I haven't thought about or heard about in years immediately comes back to me, tune and all! 
There is victory in Jesus. If that weren't true then there wouldn't be thousands of testimonies to testify to it.  There is no other explanation for the peace that descends upon a soul that has clung to Jesus in dark moments and emerges into his light.  Sometimes the victory to be experienced is continued life on this earth and other times the victory is to be taken into Heaven and the resting place of God.  Either way, when God ordains it there is victory!
