Holocaust Remembrance Day Today is the 70th Anniversary of the liberation of three of the largest concentration camps that marked the end of World War II, it simultaneously also observes the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising at the beginning of the war.  Bergen-Belsen, Buchenwald, and Auschwitz. Three of the most infamous camps that saw the deaths of millions of Jews and other members of society that Hitler deemed undesirable.  Some people wonder why a remembrance like this is important, why keep bringing it up?  If we let it fade off into history, if we do not remind ourselves and newer generations of what happened then the chances of it repeating are greater.  We remember to never forget so it can never happen again. National High Five Day  Like many other observance days, this day isn't what it seems on the surface. Giving high fives is fun but today giving high fives can help save lives.
