International Children's Book Day Go to the library or a local bookstore and read some children's books...either by yourself or with kiddos! This is a great day to donate to an organization that promotes reading and literacy for children. Reconciliation Day   ( additional information ) This day has two separate reasons for observance.  Both are equally important.  Read the links and you'll see what I mean. So today, why not observe both kinds of reconciliation? Seek reconciliation with those you might be in conflict with.  Do what you can to gain peace. Seek ways to foster reconciliation between people of different colors, ethnic backgrounds, and cultures. Day 261: PB&J

As a friend said on her Facebook page a couple of weeks ago, "Sometimes you just need a good ol' PB&J sandwich to set things in order. You know what I'm sayin'?"  Indeed! Sometimes you do.  Sometimes you need a simple PB&J to get your Gratitude Attitude back in check. There's something about a PB&J that settles me down and reminds me there is a bigger picture than the tiny little dot I am obsessing over.  Who knew that a PB&J held that much power?! But it does!
