Needing a dose of sunshine during this month of winter? This might sound familiar because I asked a similar question last month! But in these months of winter when the temperatures can dip below freezing and the air has a snap to it, one can't help but think of the sunshine and long a little bit for a soak in some rays. It seems February is a popular month for people to want, perhaps need, to travel to warmer climates for a few days.   So I Googled sunny locations and came up with some options. Some require a passport , and others don't. Maybe, like me, you can't travel - domestic or abroad - to some sunshine. Might I suggest a Google search of sunny days and just spending some time looking at places of sunny days? That might help a bit.

Why not throw a Sunshine Party for #SunnySunday ? Imagine how fun it would be to gather people and celebrate friendship and use the sunshine as your theme!  Decorate in yellows and oranges - make things as sunny as possible! There's a bunch of ideas online, just Google "Sunshine Party Ideas." Have foods that remind you and others of sunshine - lemon flavored treats and lemonade of course! Remind yourself and others about the sun with fun quotes tacked up. And send everyone home with a scoop of sunshine for the days ahead. Of course make it your own, create your own sunshine and share it with everyone!

I found out some really interesting facts about them. The first super interesting fact I found out was this: Isn't that fascinating?! Here are some other interesting facts about the sunflower - although I am still the most fascinated by it's ability to clean up nuclear waste!  Another super fun fact about sunflowers is their mathematical skills, of which I have none so I'm always impressed when math plays a role. *wink* The seeds arranged in the Fibonacci sequence ensures maximum sunlight for each floret. How freaking cool is that?!  Today would be a...
