This popular phrase started out differently. It first was "care killed the cat." Over time it evolved, click here to read about it's evolution. When the phrase is used the meaning is that being inquisitive is bad, dangerous, unacceptable.

Be An Angel Day This holiday reminds me of the following verse - Hebrews 13:2, "Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers [in the brotherhood—being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it." Women's Healthy Weight Day (The men today can observe International Walking On Eggshells Day - ha!) Today is a day to celebrate each other right at the size we are at.  I 100% support that. I also 100% support women, and men, practicing lifestyle habits that get them to a healthy weight.  The facts are too hard to ignore.  The more we weigh the more strain we are putting on our joints, organs, etc. Now.
