Got rep? Who cares!

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.  John Wooden

Our reputations are based on a lot of things - situations, perceptions (which can be accurate or not), our own personal baggage, and to some extent our characters.  The extent of our character being involved in our reputation is based on this: as long as we are not comfortable in our own skin we will be more concerned with reputation than character.  Once we become comfortable in our own skin our character doesn't play, as much or usually, into our reputations.  Our character then becomes our reputation because there is no differentiation between the two.  That's the goal by the way.  To shed the reputation and let your character speak for you.
What is character?  It is who you are at the core.  It is the true you while reputation is you trying to respond to others and situations and sometimes we aren't true to ourselves.  You know what I mean, I know you do.  Unfortunately when we respond out of reputation concern and not character people assign us character qualities that may not be fair, but really that's our own fault.  Don't know who you are at the core?  Dig deep and discover yourself so you can let your character shine and the reputation fade away.  People who are true to themselves and their character don't worry or concern themselves with reputation.  It's a non-factor in how they behave, respond, interact, etc with others because they are confident that their character will speak well on behalf of them.  Can you say that about yourself?  (Be honest, nobody else knows what you are thinking so you're safe to allow honesty in!)
Be concerned with your core and discover you deep in there and the rest will fall into place.

The Feast of Firstfruits & Easter Go for Broke Day If it scares you this is the day to go for it no matter what. One Day Without Shoes Day Today is to raise global awareness for children’s health and education.  Why shoes? Join TOMS One for One There is plenty of criticism out there for TOMS and its short term solutions. Critics don't even buy the "at least they are doing something" statement.  However, you have to start somewhere. And every bit of awareness helps something go from short term to long term.  We all have a part to play. Read a Road Map Day One of the many reasons I would stink at The Amazing Race is because I never did learn how to read a road map well.  I remember doing worksheets and class lessons on maps and I was able to skate by to pa
