#WebsiteWednesdays

Part of my personality is a love of learning. I really wish I had understood that back in my school days...but let me not digress.

I think that as adults we should all be learning - still. Whether we need to for our careers or just to keep our brains active or both. As we live our lives we should engage in continuing education. So today here's a few websites that encourage adult continuing education - give them a look and learn something new!

Here's a website I got turned on to when listening to the Undisclosed Podcast. This site offers SO MUCH! Cooking classes, creative classes, brainy classes, etc. It's worth checking out.

The Great Courses costs money to learn and if you don't have the budget don't worry! There are plenty of learning sites out there that offer continuing education for free.

Here's the point - keep learning! Keep engaging your brain, don't stop! The cool thing about being an adult is you can choose what to learn - it could be knitting, rewiring an outlet, cooking an ethnic dish, or reviewing algebra (although I have no idea why...ha!) - just pick something and get your learning on! Thanks to technology it's accessible to all of us.

Critics don't even buy the "at least they are doing something" statement.  However, you have to start somewhere. And every bit of awareness helps something go from short term to long term.  We all have a part to play. Read a Road Map Day One of the many reasons I would stink at The Amazing Race is because I never did learn how to read a road map well.  I remember doing worksheets and class lessons on maps and I was able to skate by to pa
