#SmallBusinessSaturday

When you shop local you are contributing to a someone's story - to their dreams - to their livelihood. And you are contributing to the story - the dream - and the livelihood of your community. When you shop big box you are contributing to some CEO's overblown salary, or in some cases the cycle of poverty due to low employee wages, and the lack of community.

Local business owners are varied in their income levels but every penny they do earn stays in their communities which helps. We all have to work together to keep our communities strong, relevant, and healthy and if we aren't a local business owner the very least we can do to contribute is be a consumer at our community local businesses.

So shop local and help your community write its story.
