Live high not low

Instead of using "I'm human" as an excuse to walk in the flesh, try using "I'm saved" as a reason to walk in the Spirit.  Unknown

I've done it, you've done it.  Uttered the words, "It's just who I am" as an excuse for bad behavior.  Um, NO.  Poor excuse.  It's the worst excuse.  It is not okay to behave badly, hurt people, act like an ass, and try to just shrug it off with the flippant "Deal with it because that's just me."  UGH.  Own your behavior.  Take responsibility for bad attitudes, hurting people with words and/or actions, and acting like an ass.  Don't try to con yourself and others by saying it's part of who are.  It's not.  If you are a believer of God and a follower of him then it's not who you are.  And you don't get to use the "I'm human" as an excuse for your bad behavior.  C'mon.  Instead of walking in the flesh and every so often trying to put God in there somewhere why don't we *GASP* try walking in the Spirit and remembering who we are?  How often do you actually consider that you are a child of the King and that means there is a standard of behavior that has been set for you?  Quit living low (i.e using the excuse "I'm human" for bad behavior) and start living within the standard set for you!  It's so annoying when someone is railroading people with their bad attitude and behavior and then wants everyone they have railroaded to just be okay with that kind of behavior when they shrug and say, "Oh well that's just who I am, it's part of me so deal."  NO.  Don't let anyone in your life get away with that and don't you try to get away with that!  And if you try to convince me that your bad behavior is "just who you are" don't expect me to just nod my head and accept that lame excuse.  We are called to live high not low, let's hold each other to it.

The Feast of Firstfruits & Easter Go for Broke Day If it scares you this is the day to go for it no matter what. One Day Without Shoes Day Today is to raise global awareness for children’s health and education.  Why shoes? Because shoes help protect from bacteria in the dirt, rusty nails, dirty needles and shoes enable feet to withstand the long distances most children in developing countries need to walk to get to school. Join TOMS One for One There is plenty of criticism out there for TOMS and its short term solutions. Critics don't even buy the "at least they are doing something" statement.  However, you have to start somewhere. And every bit of awareness helps something go from short term to long term.  We all have a part to play. Read a Road Map Day One of the many reasons I would stink at The Amazing Race is because I never did learn how to read a road map well.  I remember doing worksheets and class lessons on maps and I was able to skate by to pa
