Look Alike Day  (or  Doppelganger ) Do you have a look alike?  Do you want to look like someone else? When I was in High School and had hair down to my waist my classmates thought I looked like these two actresses: Sometimes wanting to be a look alike gets to be creepy and obsessive... Yes, these are REAL (sort of) people . They have both gone through multiple surgeries in their quest to look like Ken and Barbie, both in looks and in body shape.  Disturbing is an understatement. Here is an attempt at being a Justin Bieber look alike .  I say it has been an epic fail but it's still disturbing. It's fine if you happen to look similar to someone known or else but to spend gross amounts of money to attempt to look like someone?  You may need some professional counseling.  I'm just sayin'. International Juggler's Day (also applies to multi tasking office workers) Later on this year we observe World Juggler's Day which is the same, really, as International Juggler's Day.  So today I'm going outside the literal box and talk about juggling life, tasks, etc. Is all that juggling good for your happy health? Feeling Overwhelmed? When it comes to juggling your relationships and your life it isn't as fun to watch or do as juggling with props.  Life Juggling isn't recommended, the balls that drop could have a damaging impact. One of my most favorite scriptures is Psalm 90:12, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”  One of the keys to not juggling life is prioritizing life; Numbering Your Days And Gaining Wisdom. Holocaust Remembrance Day Today is the 70th Anniversary of the liberation of three of the largest concentration camps that marked the end of World War II, it simultaneously also observes the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising at the beginning of the war.  Bergen-Belsen, Buchenwald, and Auschwitz. Three of the most infamous camps that saw the deaths of millions of Jews and other members of society that Hitler deemed undesirable.  Some people wonder why a remembrance like this is important, why keep bringing it up?  If we let it fade off into history, if we do not remind ourselves and newer generations of what happened then the chances of it repeating are greater.  We remember to never forget so it can never happen again. National High Five Day  Like many other observance days, this day isn't what it seems on the surface. Giving high fives is fun but today giving high fives can help save lives.
